The Hospital Scene
Twilight was filmed during March and April in Kalama, which meant a rainy spring and limited space for covered and enclosed areas. The director inquired about a space to build filming sets. It was lucky that wrestling season was over, and this space was offered to the director. A set was built in the centre of the room for the filming of the second hospital scene in Twilight. The orange and black mats were rolled up, and that allowed extra space for electrical equipment and props to be stored in a dry space. In the scene in the hospital, Edward is sitting in a chair with a window behind him. The blinds are closed. If they were open, those orange mats would be clearly visible just outside the window.
