Mountain Timber Market is inviting couples, friends, and visitors to take a day this February and enjoy food, shopping, music, and Valentine’s-themed events along Kalama’s waterfront.
From February 1 through 14, guests can explore the Love at First Bite Tasting Trail, a self-guided food and drink experience hosted by Mountain Timber Market and McMenamins Kalama Harbor Lodge. Participants can pick up a stamp card at the Mountain Timber Market Info Desk, the Port of Kalama Front Desk or Interpretive Center, McMenamins Kalama Harbor Lodge, or any participating shop inside the Market. Shoppers receive a stamp with each purchase at participating businesses, and completed cards turned in by February 14 will be entered to win a one-night romantic stay at McMenamins Kalama Harbor Lodge.
Participating businesses include McMenamins Kalama Harbor Lodge, Luckman Coffee, Bloom Cake Studio, Battle Crest Distillery, Cose Deliziose, Whimsy Chocolates, Silver Cat Farm, Birrieria La Vaquita, and Take a Day, encouraging visitors to slow down, explore, and enjoy time together. As part of the tasting trail, Cose Deliziose is offering a special promotion: buy one sandwich or gelato and get the second half off.
