When the Trash Can Mural Project began, we received an overwhelming number of requests from Kalama residents to include a can created by children. We reached out to Little Rascal Preschool and knew it would be the perfect opportunity for a special community collaboration. Each child had the opportunity to choose their own color and add their handprint to the design, making this can a truly unique and meaningful piece of art. We would like to extend a heartfelt thank-you to all of the children who participated and helped bring this wonderful creation to life. We also sincerely thank the teachers and staff at Little Rascals Preschool for their enthusiasm, support, and involvement in making this project possible. This special can is a beautiful reminder that community art can bring together artists of every age!
