Science Class Scene – Not Used in Final Cut

Attempts were made to film the science class scene at Kalama High School, but the Kalama science lab did not have windows to show the rain in the background. Another class was considered as a possible science class, and a few takes of the rain or windows were tried, but it was determined to be ineffective. During filming, someone was to spray water on the window with a garden hose. The school in Portland had a science room with windows, so the scene was filmed there.
