Spring is in bloom in Kalama, WA, and with the new season comes a new set of events and experiences to indulge in. Reawaken your senses and uncover something new!

The 2026 Annual Events Calendar is here and ready for your viewing. Take a peek at the events postcard on the back of our newly debuted 2026 Discover Kalama Visitor Guide, or as always, explore all events happening under the “Events” tab on DiscoverKalama.com.

Explore Kalama through an artist’s eye, by engaging with several new murals and creations in historic downtown. The summer “Sunset on the Columbia” mural, commissioned by Envision Kalama, gives everyone from First Street and above a sunset view. Stroll through downtown and admire the new additions to the Trashcan Mural Projects led by artists from the Kalama Chamber of Commerce. Don’t miss the new installation of the “Eagle” Mural on the side of the VFW building, honoring America’s 250th birthday.

Music is in the air across the city; you just have to listen. Discover local artists in intimate settings at Kalama Mixtape’s monthly concerts at One55Elm or settle in at the Kalama Harbor Lodge Lounge. Decide to follow someone new or reminisce with a returning artist. Acoustic is your jam? Listen in or join like-minded musicians at Kalama on a String, monthly at the Mountain Timber Market.

Speaking of markets, it’s time for the next round of pop-up events featuring local artisan vendors. Mountain Timber Market’s monthly pop-up markets always bring in something, or someone, new! And if you’re looking for a unique gift to purchase for mom, the Mother’s Day Art Market hosted by the Kalama Artists and Makers Association.

Stay tuned for new installations of Kalama’s history in downtown with the Historic Downtown Walking Tour. In the meantime, check out our digital gallery of Famous Faces in Kalama’s history, who were integral in building and shaping the town into what it is today.
