Join the Kalama Lions Club on New Year’s Day for Freezin’ for a Reason– 2nd Annual Kalama Community Polar Plunge with all proceeds benefiting Shop with a Hero 2026. The Shop with a Hero program provides a Christmas gift buying and giving opportunity for under privileged children in the Kalama community. You’ve seen what we can accomplish TOGETHER!
Maybe a Polar Plunge is on your bucket list– maybe you’re just the adventurous type….. either way, come on down to the river and participate in a little community fellowship for a GREAT CAUSE!! Donations are appreciated but not required… Every $100 raised is a child we can shop with. Pro-tip….? If you have friends and family unwilling to brave the chilly waters, have a handful of them sponsor you for $20 each– voila, you’ve donated $100!!
Cash, checks (made payable to: Kalama Lions Foundation), and credit/debit card (square) donations can be made at the check-in table.
