This summer, an exciting new addition is arriving at the Kalama Waterfront that you certainly won’t want to miss!

In celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the United States, the Port of Kalama, along with various community sponsors and organizations, has commissioned a stunning metal Eagle sculpture to grace the Kalama Waterfront.

The “Kalama Eagle” will be officially unveiled on Independence Day, kicking off the America 250 Celebration event. The dedication ceremony for this impressive sculpture is set for 12:00 pm on July 4 at the Port of Kalama Marine Park. Guests can anticipate patriotic displays, a lineup of speakers, and the grand reveal of the sculpture.

Following the dedication, attendees can enjoy live performances from three bands at the Westin Amphitheater, continuing until 9:00 pm, when the community fireworks on the beach will light up the sky. Enjoy live music while sipping a drink in the amphitheater’s beer garden, presented by McMenamins.

A complimentary shuttle service will run from 11:00 am to 11:00 pm during the event, with drop-offs at the Mountain Timber Market. Guests can conveniently park at either the Kalama High School Stadium parking lot or the Port of Kalama parking lot adjacent to the Columbia Inn in downtown Kalama before boarding the shuttles.

Be sure to check the schedule for more information on the timing of activities throughout the event!
